How to use
1. INSERTING THE BLADE
Open the shaver by twisting the handle. Place blade on the alignment tabs. Tighten the handle and make sure the comb-like edge is facing upwards.
2. PREPARATIONS
Prepare for shaving by softening your hair with warm water. If desired, exfoliate and moisturize your skin a day before shaving to prevent ingrown hairs and reduce skin irritation. Apply Nomai Shaving Gel to lubricate the shaving area to help the blade glide smoothly and gently over your skin.
3. SHAVING
Shave with the grain (the same direction that your hair grows in), using short razor strokes, positioning the razor at a 30-45° angle for maximum precision. Do not press the razor against the skin, but let it glide gently under its own weight. Rinse the razor regularly while shaving. Be especially careful around the knees and ankles.
4. SKIN CARE AFTER SHAVING
Finally, rinse your skin with cool water and pat dry. Finish your shave with Nomai Soft Oil, which helps to keep your skin soft and contains soothing oat oil.
5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Let the razor and blade air dry after rinsing them after shaving. Dispose of the used blade safely (for example, by taping it or taking it to a metal collection point). The appropriate blade replacement interval is individual and depends on the thickness, density of the hair (beard vs. legs) and how often you shave. For the thickest, densest and coarsest hair, the replacement interval may be about every 5–7 uses.
6. SAFETY
Avoid touching the sharp edges of the blade. Do not slide the razor sideways - this can cause cuts. Keep the razor and blades out of the reach of children.
Although the Nomai Superior Shaver is high-quality and durable, it is still worth using it with care. If dropped at a right angle onto a hard surface, the shaver may break. Therefore, handle the shaver with care.
